Madeleine De Sinety
Madeleine was born in France and came to Rangeley in 1985. She attended the Ecole National des Arts Decoratifs in Paris.
She got into photography by taking pictures of the last steam trains running through Paris. Her main body of work for twenty years has been photographing a small village in Brittany. Selected images have been exhibited at the French National Library in Paris, from May to June of 1996. She has also been working on a photo documentary of a small village in the province of Nebbi, in northern Uganda, Africa. Her work will be published in the August issue of Photo District News.
