- Awarded over $2000 in scholarships to local students for private music lessons, dance classes, and for Maine Fiddle Camp, Foothills Arts Camp, and the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts.
- Assisted three seniors at RLRS with the cost of preparing Advanced Placement art portfolios.
- Sponsored the “Walk to Bethlehem” community Christmas performance.
- Worked in cooperation with Rangeley Lakes Regional School to sponsor these visiting artists: The Maine Steiners – University of Maine A Cappella Men’s Vocal Band; Michelle Dionetti – writer; Henry Braun and Paul Corrigan – Maine poets; Jan Owen – calligrapher and bookmaker; Gary Wittner – Jazz musician; and Annagret Baier – drummer and percussionist with a visiting dancer. The 3-5 Grade Arts Intercession enjoyed workshops with local artists in weaving, printmaking, pottery, poetry, and photography.
- Provided The London Trip students with tickets to see the musical “les Miserables” and the Boston Trip students with tickets to a professional theatrical performance.
- Coordinated a group recital for local students taking private music lessons.
- Awarded a $500 scholarship to a graduating senior from RLRS continuing in the arts.
- Brought eight different arts events to the Rangeley Region during the summer for visitors and locals to enjoy. Performing were the Robinson Ballet, Phil Rich Big Band, Shirley Yoo- pianist, the Howlin’ Winds Flute Choir, the Portland String Quartet, men’s and women’s barbershop music with the Oarsmen and Celebration!, classic rock with Elmore Twist, and the Don Campbell Band.
- Sponsored a local original student ballet and a visiting ballet company to perform and provide master classes in ballet technique.
- Continued the traditions of offering fun arts events like the Sidewalk Art Show, the Old Time Fiddler’s Contest, the Local Artists Gallery, and the Home Tour.
